Apple sorbet

- Main Ingredient: Apple
- Course: Ice cream and sherbet
- Yield:
Apple sorbet ingredients
- 5 large Tart apples, peeled
- -cored and diced
- -(Gravensteins, Jonathans
- -Spartans are all great)
- 1 lemon, juice
- 1⁄2 c Sugar
- 1 1⁄2 c Apple Cider
- 2 T Apple brandy or Calvados
- (optional)
Cooking Apple sorbet
1. Process apples with lemon juice in a food processor using the steel blade.
2. When the mixture is smooth, add sugar, apple cider and/or the liquor.
3. Process until everything is well blended.
4. Freeze in an ice cream maker.
