Apple gingerbread ingredients

  • 6 T Solid shortening
  • c granulated white sugar
  • 1 Eggs
  • 2483527⁄624973141 c molasses
  • 372529⁄-2009260032 c flour
  • 1 T Cinnamon
  • 2483527⁄624973141 t Ginger
  • 2483527⁄624973141 t Salt
  • c Strained applesauce

Cooking Apple gingerbread

1. Creami together shortening and sugar.
2. Beat egg; add molasses; mix well.
3. Sifti together three times the flour, soda, cinnamon, ginger and salt.
4. Add to creamed mixture alternately with applesauce.
5. Bakei in a greased pan in a 350 degree oven for 45 minutes.
6. Cool slightly.
7. Serves eight.
