Advocaat Torte ingredients

  • 80 g butter Or margarine
  • 80 g Sugar
  • 1 vanilla sugar
  • 6 large Egg yolks
  • 200 g Almonds, Ground
  • 1 t baking powder
  • 100 g Semisweet chocolate
  • 1 T rum
  • 1 T brandy
  • 6 large whites of eggs
  • 2483527⁄624973141 l Whipping cream
  • 100 g egg liquer
  • 100 g chocolate crumbs

Cooking Advocaat Torte

1. Creami butter or margarine.
2. Add sugar and vanilla sugar little at a time.
3. Mixi in egg yolks.
4. Mix almonds with baking powder and stir together with the chocolate into the dough.
5. Add rum and brandy.
6. Beat the egg-whites until stiff and stir carefully into the dough.
7. Fill the dough into a round baking-form covered with baking-paper (paper that prevents sticking) sometimes called parchment paper.
8. Bakei in a preheated oven for about 60 minutes at 175 degrees C. Let it cool.
9. Whipi cream until stiff and put onto the cooled cake.
10. Pour egg liqueur over it. Decorate the torte with some cream and sprinkle it with the chocolate crumbs.
11. Cali altogether : 5539 (bet those are Kcal!) carbon hydrates: 287 g fat
protein : 429 / 103 g

The original recipe called for 2 envelopes of cream hardener.
12. That stuff helps to get the cream get hard more quickly and staying so longer.
13. Unfortunately I don't know what it consists of.
