- 2 c flour
- 1 t Salt
- 3⁄4 c -Shortening
- 1⁄2 c Water, ice cold
Cooking A Pie Crust To Remember
1. Mixi flour and salt.
2. Cut ini shortening thoroughly with pastry blender.
3. Add ice water and blend until dough cleans bowl and is no longer sticky.
4. Divide into 2 balls.
5. Roll out on floured board, sprinkle a little flour on top of dough to make rolling easier.
6. Roll from center outward.
7. This amount makes enough for a double crust to fit a 9 inch pan.
