    <directions>1. Heat oven to 350F.
2. In large mixer bowl, beat butter and sugars until   light and fluffy; blend in eggs and vanilla.
3. In separate bowl, stir   together flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt; gradually add to butter   mixture, mixing well.
4. Stir in oats and nuts.
5. (Batter will be   stiff.
6. ) Dro by rounded Tbsp.
7. onto ungreased cookie sheet.
8. Bake 11 to   12 minutes or until set; cookies will be slightly moist in center.
9. DO   NOT OVERBAKE.
10. Cool 1 minute; remove from cookie sheet to wire rack.
11. Cool completely.
