Herb and Spice - How to Use

For added flavor, blend garlic and herbs - fresh or dried - into a dish early on... then, at the last moment, toss in a bit more. This gives an extra dimension in taste.

Add sage, bay leaf and garlic at the beginning of the cooking process as they have a strong flavor. Herbsi with a more subtle aroma such as basil, parsley, fennel are best when added at the end of the cooking process to preserve their flavor. Note, that delicate aromas can be lost due to over cooking
