Barley-amaranth waffles ingredients

  • 3⁄4 c AM Amaranth flour
  • 1 c AM Barley flour
  • 1 T Non-alum baking powder
  • 1⁄4 t Sea salt (optional)
  • 1 1⁄2 c Milk, soymilk, or water
  • 3 T AM Unrefined Vegetable Oil

Cooking Barley-amaranth waffles

1. Mixi liquids and dry ingredients separately, then beat together with a hand mixer.
2. Pour onto hot, non-stick surface griddle.
3. Thin batter with additional water if needed.
4. Makes four waffles.
5. May be used for pancakes also.
