African Squash and Yams ingredients

  • 1 Onions
  • 2 T Oil
  • 1 lb hubbard squash
  • 2 yam
  • 1 c coconut milk
  • 1⁄2 t Salt
  • 1⁄2 t Ground cinnamon
  • 1⁄4 t Ground cloves

Cooking African Squash and Yams

1. Cook and stir onion in oil in 10-inch skillet over medium heat until tender.
2. Stiri in remaining ingredients.
3. Heat to boiling.
4. Reducei heat.
5. Cover and simmer 10 minutes.
6. Simmeri, uncovered, stirring occasionally, until vegetables are tender, about 5 minutes longer.
